Responsible for providing bearing capacity reserves for the footings of columns as part of a tunnel wall below a multi-storey car park (ULS and SLS analyses). The bearing capacity of the column footings were improved by bored pile rafts. Analyses carried out by the software packages SPOOKS and COULOMB.
